Scotch Tasting – The Debate: Independent Bottlers vs Small Distilleries

Jeff Peterson and William Skelly will be guiding us through this comparative tasting of 8 outstanding Whiskies in our cellar.

Jeff Peterson is the Central Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Vision Wine & Spirits. He represents many liquor brands including the Independent Bottlers Gordon & MacPhail and Douglas Laing Remarkable Regional Malts plus Benromach Scotch Whisky which is based in Elgin, Scotland. His extensive world travels to many of the world’s finest distilleries has earned him a wealth of knowledge and an Apprentice Stillman Certification from Benromach.

William Skelly has spent over 20 years furthering his passion for spirits, particularly Whiskies from around the world. He has worked in various marketing and sales capacities for category leading and pioneering companies such as Diageo, Maker’s Mark Bourbon, and Anchor Distilling. He currently manages Terlato Distell Artisan Spirits in the Midwest.
