Spain has been making wine for a very, very long time and it is now at a fascinating juncture. Its winemakers, after decades of stifling oppression from fascism, are reinventing the very landscape of Iberian wine. There is a treasure trove of amazing bottles trickling into our market and this tasting looks to illuminate some of our favorites while we talk about the how’s and why’s these wines came to be.

The World Of Wine Series introduces 100 wines from 100 of the world’s most famous appellations. As with all of our events, we use wine as a way to connect dots. We draw lines between flavors, farming, culture, history, and beyond. It’s a way to sip wine and engage the world in ways that that can be sometimes hilarious, at times deadly serious, but most importantly, always intoxicatingly interesting.
