Yeast – Sounds like a nerdy class, right? On one hand it is, especially if you consider it nerdy to learn about the differences between Lagers, Ales, and Sours or Champagne, Sherry, and Chardonnay or, for that matter, anything with alcohol in it. Yeast is the cornerstone of alcoholic beverages and in this class, we breakaway from the typical wine class paradigm and investigate the amazing impact this fun-guy and our evolving understanding of it has shaped our imbibing culture and how it expresses itself in our glass.
