January Wines
Chateau La Roque Languedoc Blanc 2021
$24.99
The proprietor of Chateau La Roque, Cyriaque Rozier converted this iconic estate to biodynamic viticulture in 2011. The Blanc is a blend of Marsanne, Rolle, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Viognier and it is absolutely singing right now. The nose shows notes of honey and yellow fruits and the rich medium bodied palate delivers creamy apricot fruit with mineral and salinity. This will pair well with everything before the steak course.
Bedrock Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon 2023
$47.99
Bedrock Wine Co. is run by friends Morgan Twain-Peterson and Chris Cottrell who produce wine from old historic vineyards in California, making it their mission to preserve and rehabilitate these vineyards while creating an alliance with the growers. The finished product is as harmonious as the relationships with the growers and the vineyards. This particular Cabernet comes from the Montecillo vineyard in the Moon Mountain AVA in Sonoma and the Bedrock vineyard in Sonoma Valley. The Cabernet shows incredible elegance and lift and is approachable in its youth but can also be cellared. The nose shows notes of cassis, plum, and baking spice and the full bodied palate delivers dark berried fruit with cedar spice and grainy tannin. Treat yourself to this exceptional bottle of Cabernet with Steak au Poivre.
Elio Perrone Bigaro 2024
$23.99
This softly sweet, gently effervescent sparkler is made from Brachetto and Moscato. The wine shows a cherry hue with purplish tinges and offers an ample, expressive profile with notes of wild strawberry, raspberry, and rose. A gentle sweetness and well-balanced acidity create a fragrant, harmonious character. This will pair beautifully with the Murray's raspberry pie.
