Here, we take a step away from the bright lights and international focus given to the Prosecco’s, Barolo’s, and Sangioveses and instead, turn our attention to the small productions of culturally important producers from overlooked regions which produce astonishingly delicious and sometimes highly idiosyncratic wines. This class really is where the rubber meets the road for Italian wine!
